The Diamond Bar community is one that is filled with a sense of pride, prosperity, and togetherness. These positive attributes are the basis of how we can always seek to better ourselves as individuals and as a community. One way to go about doing so is to volunteer our time to a worthy cause or effort, to connect with others, and increase happiness and strengthen community.
I am pleased to announce that the City’s first Day of Service event will be held on Saturday, May 18. Community members will have the opportunity to come together for a few hours to clean up and spruce up a few public areas throughout the City, and also learn about volunteer opportunities offered by Diamond Bar service organizations. Once the projects have been completed, volunteers will gather for a celebratory lunch. Space is limited, please visit the City website in advance to sign up for your preferred project and reserve your special event t-shirt. You will not want to miss this event, which is a component of the Healthy Diamond Bar initiative focusing on public and community service.
Join us for our next Connect with Rec Event – Trail Hike Day on Saturday, March 16 from 9 – 11 a.m. This hike will take place at the Pantera Park Trail located at 738 Pantera Drive and is open to all ages and fitness levels, pre-registration is not required.
