City Looking to Fill GPAC Vacancy

One vacancy currently exists on the Diamond Bar General Plan Advisory Committee (GPAC), and interested Diamond Bar residents are invited to apply before the May 18 deadline. The GPAC is composed of 15 volunteer members appointed by the Diamond Bar City Council to play an advisory role and take a community-wide perspective on all matters related to the comprehensive General Plan Update. More 

Citywide Curb Address Repainting

Curb Address Repainting Underway

In its biennial tradition, the City has issued permits for citywide residential curb address painting to Canning Hunger and Care for the Children. These nonprofits are authorized to repaint addresses on the condition that they perform the work at no cost to the homeowner. Donations of $15, while not obligatory, will be accepted from those who wish to support the nonprofits. More

Coffee with a Cop

New Coffee With A Cop Series

Starting this month, there is a new way to share local public safety-related questions, ideas or concerns. The City has teamed up with the Sheriff’s Department and created a Coffee With A Cop Series that will be held every second and fourth Tuesday of the month from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. at various locations throughout the community. The first Coffee with A Cop takes place May 8 at It's A Grind. More

Senior Safety Seminar

May 15 Senior Safety Seminar

Diamond Bar residents age 55 and older will have an opportunity on May 15 to some local deputies, and come away with knowledge and tips to protect themselves and their property. Some of the topics that will be covered are financial frauds, sales scams, thefts from cars, and burglaries. More
