Diamond Bar City Hall

Diamond Bar’s commitment to public safety is a testament to the partnership between residents, businesses, and the collaborative efforts of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s and Fire Departments. This approach includes the creation of the City’s own Let’s Talk Public Safety (LTPS) program which aims to engage, educate, and empower our community through proactive Neighborhood Watch programs and meeting your neighbors
Let’s Talk Public Safety includes a variety of community engagement and educational opportunities, such as:

  • Coffee with a Cop – regular opportunities for community members and public safety personnel to have an informal conversation at various coffee shops around town. The first event will take place on May 8th at 7am at It’s A Grind Coffee House.
  • Safety Speak – a new public safety blog penned by Deputy Aaron Scheller, member of the City of Diamond Bar Public Safety Team. You may view the latest posts on the City’s website and conveniently sign-up to be notified when a new blog is posted via the City’s e-Subscriptions.

Another opportunity you have to be proactive is to join a Neighborhood Watch group. There are currently more than 80 Neighborhood Watch groups in Diamond Bar and we are starting Business Watch groups in commercial centers in town. If there isn’t a Watch group in your area, it is simple to start one. For more information, please visit the City’s Public Safety website. Let’s all do our part to foster a safe community!
As always, the City Council welcomes your comments, concerns, or questions. You can reach me or any other Council Member by calling 909.839.7010 or by using the links to our email addresses located on the “City Council Members page of the City website. We look forward to hearing from you!
