Join your neighbors and friends at Pantera Park on Saturday, April 14 for a fun-filled, family-friendly celebration commemorating Diamond Bar’s 29 years of cityhood. Festivities include carnival rides, games and inflatables, food and information booths, a business showcase, and giveaways. New this year will be a Kiddie Land area for children ages 8 and younger, and a Heritage Display with an exhibit and activities reminiscent of life in the 1800s and 1900s. More

Arbor Day Poster Contest Deadline Drawing Near

Calling all creative fifth graders! Next Friday is the deadline entries in the City’s annual Arbor Day Poster Contest. Get a plain letter-size paper, any art mediums of your choice, and create artwork that depicts the theme "Trees are Terrific:  For our Health and Happiness." Three entries will be selected as winners and displayed at the City's Earth Day and Arbor Day Celebration taking place Saturday, April 21, and the artists will receive a Target gift card. More

General Plan Advisory Committee Meets Again April 19

Earlier this year, the Planning Commission and City Council reviewed the three land use alternatives and selected a preferred alternative. Using this alternative as the basis, work is now underway to develop the draft land use map and draft key guiding policies for the mixed use areas. This draft map and policies will be discussed at the next General Plan Advisory Committee (GPAC) meeting taking place on April 19. Community members are encouraged to attend. More

You can hear about it, or read about it, but sometimes there is nothing like trying it for yourself. Connect with Rec! is a fun event the City is hosting on May 2 that will feature performances, demonstrations, giveaways, and more. Bring your friends and family and sample a variety of indoor and outdoor recreational classes and activities, and meet recreation staff and instructors. Register in advance to get a free water bottle. More
