Welcome to Weekly Highlights from City Hall - Each issue of this electronic bulletin will contain brief news and information about City programs, services and projects.
Protect Yourself Against Shoulder Surfing
Shoulder surfing can happen any time in a public space but it mostly happens at ATMs, gas stations, or in crowed places when you are using your phone or other electronic device to pay a bill or make a purchase. The person looking to steal your information will simply look over your shoulder – hence the term “shoulder surfing” – or they will use hidden or visible cameras or other devices.
Do you have someone in your household interested in improving their tennis skills? Tennis Anyone has a variety of weeknight classes for all ages and skill levels. New session begins the week of November 13. Register online by clicking here.

New Flashing Stop Sign Pilot Project
As part of a new pilot project, two LED flashing stop signs were recently installed at the intersection of Palomino Drive and La Bonita Road. The addition of the flashing lights is intended to enhance visibility at night and address any persistent issues with stop sign compliance. A preliminary study was conducted before the installation and a subsequent study will take place to evaluate the effectiveness of these newly implemented devices.
