Government Explained Presentation SeriesLearn about the General Plan on March 15 at 6 p.m. at the Diamond Bar CenterDid you know that every City and County in California has a policy document they use to base their zoning, land use and planning-related decisions? It is called a General Plan and it is mandated by State law. Space is limited and advance online registration is required for each presentation. Grand Avenue and Golden Springs Drive Intersection Improvement Project UpdateThe cast in place concrete west tunnel wing wall has been poured and completed. The Contractor is currently backfilling the slope behind the tunnel, followed by the construction of the east tunnel in the next week, if weather permits.

Roadway Rehabilitation Project Scheduled to Start in MayResidential & Collector Streets Rehabilitation (Area 2) and Arterial Street Rehabilitation (Golden Springs Drive from Brea Canyon Road to Grand Avenue)The Area 2 neighborhood is located south of Grand Avenue, west of Diamond Bar Boulevard, north of Pathfinder Road, and east of State Route 57. The project will improve approximately twelve centerline miles of residential and collector streets with slurry seal, chip seal, localized Asphalt Concrete (AC) dig-outs, and curb ramp improvements as determined by field conditions. Additionally, the project will rehabilitate Golden Springs Drive from Brea Canyon Road to Grand Avenue with AC grind and overlay, enhanced bike lanes, signing and striping, and ADA curb ramp improvements.

Healthy Diamond Bar Tot Trot Event PostponedNew date - March 22, 2023Bring out your toddlers for a fun trot through Sycamore Canyon Park from 9 to 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 22. Early walkers will be guided on an adventure through the trail. All participants must be accompanied by an adult. Get Moving with the Senior Wednesday WalkersParticipation is free, includes water and a small snack after every walk, and a monthly special speaker or activity.
