Registration Now Open for Breakfast with the BunnyEnjoy breakfast with the Bunny on Saturday, April 1 for $10 per individual. Admission to the event includes breakfast, children’s crafts and game stations (recommended ages 2-8), interactive dancing, and a photo with the Bunny. Limited seats are available, and advance registration is required. Resident registration is open now! Non-resident registration will open on February 6. Heart Chan Zen Meditation Classes AvailableFind your Zen through this one-hour a week mediation class. Techniques learned will help you find your inner peace and rebalance you for the week ahead. The Heart Chan Zen Meditation sessions take place on Saturday mornings at the Diamond Bar Center. Register using the City’s online recreation registration system.

Free Monthly Blood Pressure ChecksIt’s a new year so time to fulfill your new resolutions! What a better way than to get a FREE blood pressure check at the Diamond Bar Center. Every second-Monday of the month a nurse will be available to check your blood pressure from 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. in the Sycamore Room. Event sponsor, Optum, will be available to answer insurance questions and provide giveaways. Questions, call the Center at (909) 839-7068.

The Diamond Bar Center is Available for Private Rentals of All Types - Weddings, Meetings, and Corporate TrainingsReservations may be may by Diamond Bar residents up to 24 months in advance and non-residents up to 20 months in advance. Did you know? - Diamond Bar businesses qualify for discounted resident rates. Organizations, businesses, and residents with proof of a Diamond Bar address qualify for a discounted rate. Discounts do not apply to Grand View Ballroom rentals on Fridays & Saturdays.
- There are a total of 5 different rooms available. Rooms can accommodate groups of all sizes - small intimate meetings, large seminars and showcases. Capacities ranging from 30 to 800 guests.

Charter/Spectrum Improvement ProjectPublic Works issued an encroachment permit to L&G Cable Construction, subcontractor for Charter Communications, for the placement of new conduit for cable service between existing infrastructure on Diamond Bar Blvd. Construction activity started on Monday, January 23 and is anticipated for completion by February 3 or earlier. The photo depicts the contractors actively boring to place new conduit underneath the roadway.

Southern California Edison Improvement ProjectPublic Works issued an encroachment permit to International Line Builders Inc., subcontractor for Southern California Edison, for the installation of a new electrical service vault on Flintgate Drive near Calbourne Drive. Construction activity started on Monday, January 23 and is anticipated for completion by the week of February 27 or earlier. The photo depicts the contractors backfilling an open excavation following the new vault installation.

Hawkwood Road Neighborhood Traffic Management ProgramDouble yellow centerlines and edge lines were installed along Hawkwood Road on January 26 as part of the Neighborhood Traffic Management Program (NTMP). Residents along Hawkwood Road were notified via letter during the week of January 16 along with 72-hour “No Parking” signs deployed along Hawkwood Road.
