Diamond Bar Boulevard Complete Streets Project – ATP Grant Application

On Wednesday, June 15, the City applied for $3.9 million of Cycle 6 Active Transportation Program (ATP) grant funds, a program funded by the California Transportation Commission (CTC) and managed by Caltrans. The ATP grant is a competitive program that funds active transportation projects throughout the State. Results of the first round of funding are expected in early 2023.

If received, the funding will be added to the already secured $3 million in Metro grant funding for the construction of the Diamond Bar Complete Streets Project. Current construction cost is estimated to be between $6-7 million. The project aims to make the area of Diamond Bar Blvd. between Golden Springs Drive and the Pomona (60) freeway more walkable and bike friendly.
