Free Paper Shredding EventOn Saturday, May 28 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., the City is hosting a drive-through paper shredding event. The event is free and takes place in the parking lot of the South Coast Air Quality Management District, located at 21865 Copley Drive.

Find My Voting District Interactive Map Now AvailableReminder, the City has completed the transition from at-large to by-district elections. Starting this November, council candidates and voters both must reside within the same district. Districts 1, 3, and 4 are up for election in November 2022, and districts 2 and 5 in November 2024.

Grand Avenue and Golden Springs Drive Intersection Improvement Project UpdateThis week two decorative traffic signal poles were installed at the northwest and southwest corners of the intersection. All electrical wiring work for the new decorative signal poles and the removal of the existing poles is scheduled to take place within the next few weeks. All the electrical, streetscape, pre-cast architectural features, and architectural lighting along Golden Springs Drive on the west side of the intersection is currently underway.

Flapjack Drive Groundwater Drainage Improvements CompletedConstruction of the groundwater improvements on Flapjack Drive have been completed, including final pavement restoration. The groundwater that was once constantly flowing through the public gutters and causing algae buildup is now completely out of site, being collected by a perforated pipe on private property, flowing under the sidewalk and pavement through a 4” pipe, and being discharged directly into the sewer manhole.

Park Picnic Reservations AvailablePlan your next outdoor gathering, birthday party, or family picnic at one of Diamond Bar’s beautiful park shelters or picnic areas. Locations can accommodate events ranging from a small barbeque gathering to a larger event with a jumper permit and approved catering.

Summer Luau DanceCatch the island spirit! On Thursday, July 14 the City will host the Summer Luau dance at the Diamond Bar Center. From 6 to 9 p.m. participants will have the opportunity to win raffle prizes, enjoy a Luau themed dinner, take home memorable photos, and dance the night away! Week-long Summer CampsDesigned specifically for ages 4 to 15 years, week-long camps offer activities for a variety interests... including Superhero, Princess/Prince, or Wizard Camps.
