New Find My Voting District Interactive Map LaunchedStarting with the November 2022 municipal election, the City will switch from an at-large to by-district elections for council members.
Under the by-district city council election system, instead of casting votes to fill all five city council seats, Diamond Bar voters will only vote for one City Council candidate living in their district.
City Council seats for districts 1, 3, and 4 are up for election in November 2022, with the remaining districts 2 and 5 having elections in November 2024.

Flapjack Drive Groundwater Drainage Improvements This week saw the completion of a groundwater drainage improvement project in the Flapjack Drive cul-de-sac. This area was one of various locations identified during a 2015 Citywide Comprehensive Drainage Study as having chronic issues related to water drainage. These issues would cause groundwater discharge to flow onto sidewalks and/or roadways and create a buildup of algae and calcium in the gutters, impacting pedestrians and vehicular traffic. The improvements made this week consisted of installing an inlet and pipe at the private property where the groundwater originated and diverting it into the public sewer system.
