January 2022 Plan Check and Permit RevenuesThe City issued 116 building permits and received $219,805 in permit and plan check fees in January, which was the highest revenue total for a single month since July 2019. The spike in revenue was due to the issuance of the building permit for the 47,600 square-foot office building at the new hotel-anchored development under construction at the corner of Brea Canyon Road and the westbound SR 60 offramp. As a result, overall revenues are currently 7% above the budget estimate trend line for the current fiscal year.
