City Facilities Now Open by Appointment
City Hall is now open to the public by appointment only for the following counter services: Building and Safety, Planning, Engineering, Diamond Ride, Transit and Parking Permits.
Appointments are available Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to noon and may be scheduled online at www.diamondbarca.gov/appointment. Those without internet access or an email address, may schedule an appointment by calling City Hall at (909) 839-7000.
No walk-ins will be allowed, but same-day appointments may be available. Visitors may schedule multiple appointments for different services during a single visit to City Hall but must book each as an individual appointment.
The Diamond Bar Center will reopen to in-person visits by appointment for recreation program registration and facility tours starting May 1, 2021.
Visitors to City facilities must adhere to Los Angeles County Department of Health COVID-19 safety protocols, including wearing a face covering and physical distancing at all times, and subject to temperature and symptom screening. Anyone with a temperature test result of 100.4 degrees and/or displaying a symptom of COVID-19 will be denied entrance. Visitors are asked to arrive at least five minutes prior to appointment to complete the screening process.
The following safeguards have been implemented at City facilities to protect the health of the public and employees:
Physical distancing - Floor markers indicating distancing requirements visitors must follow
Installation of plex-glass shields at all public counters
Frequently disinfecting high touch areas throughout the day and between customers
Symptom and temperature screening station prior to entrance to all City facilities
Face coverings must be worn at all times
City facilities have been closed to the public since March 2020 in accordance with the Los Angeles County Department of Health Order directing certain business sectors to close due to the COVID-19 pandemic. During the closure, City services and meetings continued to be available by phone, email and online.
