Vote-by-mail drop boxes have been installed outside the Diamond Bar Library, 21800 Copley Drive, and at Pantera Park, 738 Pantera Drive, as a safe, secure and easy way to vote in the November 3, 2020 General Election.
These drop boxes are among the more than 300 available throughout Los Angeles County, and are available to voters 24 hours a day all the way through 8 p.m. on Election Day.
Voters who plan to return their ballot via a drop box must be sure to place their ballot in the Official Return Envelope, and seal, sign and date the back of the envelope.
Individuals voting via drop box or by mail can check to make sure their ballot was received and tallied through the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk's (RC/CC) Vote by Mail Status Tool at https://www.lavote.net/av_inquiry. This tool will be available 30 days prior to Election Day.
As a reminder, posting of political signage and dissemination of electioneering information is not allowed within 100 feet of any drop box.
Vote Centers
For individuals who prefer the in-person voting experience, there will be hundreds of Vote Centers throughout the county. When voting in person, all individuals (election workers and voters) must wear face coverings and gloves and practice safe physical distancing. Additionally, election workers will be wiping and sanitizing all surfaces and Ballot Marking Devices after each voter.
All Vote Centers will be available beginning Friday, October 30; however, a few will be open a week earlier on Saturday, October 24. Locations will be open every day from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. during the early voting period and from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day.
The location of these Centers will be posted on the RC/CC website in early October, with a convenient locator map tool https://locator.lavote.net/locations/vc available to search based on work or home address.
Registering/Re-registering to Vote
