Los Angeles County Announces Revised Reopening Protocols for Barbershops and Hair Salons

Effective September 2, 2020, barbershops and hair salons may resume indoor operations with additional infection control safeguards in place. These include limiting indoor occupancy to 25 percent, physical distancing and face coverings required for both employees and customers.

For businesses currently operating outdoors, officials encourage they continue to do so and use indoor occupancy for those services that cannot be provided outdoors.
