The County of Los Angeles has expanded its criteria for COVID-19 testing to include all essential workers regardless of symptoms.
Essential workers include first responders, social service employees, critical government personnel, health care professionals, grocery and food service workers, health care professionals, commercial, rideshare and public transit drivers, credentialed members of the media, utility and other public workers.
Testing continues to be available for individuals with symptoms of COVID-19, seniors age 65 or older, people with chronic underlying health conditions, or residents of congregate living settings.
As of today, there are 38 testing sites available throughout the county. Some are being operated as a drive-through and others as a walk-up. The testing site nearest to Diamond Bar is the Pomona Fairplex. The tests provided through this program are self-administered mouth swabs, with result available within five days.
