Join Neighborhood Watch

Neighborhood Watch Meeting

If you like the idea of belonging to a friendlier, safer and more cohesive neighborhood or business community, then the Diamond Bar Sheriff's team would like to encourage to consider joining or forming a Neighborhood Watch or Business Watch

Watch groups are an easy yet effective strategy for residents or business owners seeking to improve or maintain the safety and quality of life within their immediate neighborhoods or business zones.

Through the active participation of citizens in cooperation with law enforcement, Watch groups have proved effective in reducing or eliminating property crimes, such as burglary, robbery, auto theft, shoplifting, break-ins, and vandalism.

A free guide detailing the steps involved in starting and sustaining a Watch group as well as information on how to report crimes or suspicious activity is available for pickup at City Hall. You may also request that a copy be mailed to you by calling the City's Public Information Division at 909.839.7056 or sending an email to [email protected].

To find out if there is an established Neighborhood Watch group in your area or for assistance with reviving or starting a new program, contact the Diamond Bar Sheriff's Team by calling 909.348.8334 or 909.348.8332.
