New Presentation Series to Focus on City Government
The City is preparing to launch a new presentation series that will cover various aspects of Diamond Bar government.
This new series, titled City Government Explained, will start in January 2023 and consist of eight monthly presentations. They will take place on the third Wednesday of the month at the Diamond Bar Center starting January and continuing until October (no presentations in June or July).
The aim of City Government Explained is to help residents gain a better understanding of City government including its structure, function, areas of responsibility, as well as how services and projects are funded, decisions are made, and laws are passed.
All presentations will start at 6 p.m. and run between 30-45 minutes with time for questions and discussion at the end. Participation is free open to Diamond Bar residents age 16 and older. Space is limited and advance online registration is required for each presentation by visiting www.diamondbarca.gov/recregister and typing City Government Explained in the search bar.
