[ARCHIVED] Weekly Street Sweeping in December and January

Street Sweeping

Here is a reminder that street sweeping takes place weekly in December and January.

Street sweeping plays an important role in the collection and removal of dust, debris as well as heavy metals and other chemicals created by vehicles. Left unswept, these substances make their way into storm water drains, which flow untreated into waterways causing serious harm to humans, as well as marine life and plants.

Do your part to ensure the effectiveness of street sweeping in your neighborhood by moving your vehicle off a street scheduled for sweeping.

Three ways to find out what day your street is swept:

  • Refer to the “No Parking” sign posted at the  entrance of your neighborhood.
  • Visit www.diamondbarca.gov/gis and type your address into an interactive online map.
  • Download or pick up a copy of the 2023 street sweeping schedule. Electronic copy available at www.diamondbarca.gov/streetsweeping. Hard copies available at City Hall, the Diamond Bar Center, and the Diamond Bar Library.
