Progress Continues on Town Center Specific Plan

Armed with extensive research, professional expertise, and input by residents and property owners, City staff and the project consultant team are hard at work refining the preferred Vision Plan that will form the basis of the Diamond Bar Town Center Specific Plan.

This Plan is being developed in direct response to extensive public input the City received during the preparation of the Diamond Bar General Plan 2040 in which participating residents and business owners expressed a strong interest in creating a downtown area for the city.

Once completed, the Plan will create a blueprint for the future development of a mixed-use town center within the 45-acre commercial district located along both sides of Diamond Bar Boulevard between the 60 Freeway and Golden Springs Drive.

The Specific Plan process began in June and is expected to be complete sometime in fall 2023. To learn more, visit the project website at www.downtown4db.com
