[ARCHIVED] Chatbot Now Part of City Website

Chatbot Now Part of City Website

The City is piloting a new chatbot tool on its website. This automated search tool works by crawling the City’s website, for the most relevant pages in response to visitor queries.

If the chatbot cannot find an answer to the question or search term entered, it will provide a link to the City’s staff directory.

Integration of this new chatbot is part of the City’s efforts to enhance public access to City services and information. In the coming months, staff will be analyzing and further training the chatbot to improve its response to top queries.

The chatbot can be found at the at the bottom right corner of every page of the City website. For more information about the new chatbot tool, contact the City’s Public Information Division at (909) 839-7055 or
