[ARCHIVED] City Council Hybrid Meetings

City Hall Monument Sign

After more than a year of virtual meetings because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, City meetings have transitioned to a hybrid format this month.

In addition to bringing the City Council and key staff together at one location, the transition allows a limited number of people to attend and comment in person while continuing to offer the convenience of remote participation.

In accordance with state and county public health guidance, several safety measures are in place for in-person attendance. These include:

  • Mandatory face coverings or masks.
  • Signs and floor markers for appropriate physical distancing.
  • Hand sanitizer stations at key locations, and access to restrooms for handwashing.
  • Spaced-out seating inside the meeting room with overflow seating available in the lobby where people can watch the meeting on television monitors.

Both City Council and City Commission meetings are currently being held inside the Windmill Room, located on the first floor of the Diamond Bar City Hall building at 21810 Copley Drive. The capacity of the meeting room has been reduced to 12 to allow for appropriate distancing.
