Gardening Workshop

Gardening Workshop

Individuals looking to create a healthier, more sustainable home garden are encouraged to attend a free workshop taking place Wednesday, March 4 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Diamond Bar Center.

Sponsored by the County of Los Angeles, this smart gardening workshop is ideal for beginner gardeners interested in learning how to select plants that thrive in low-water conditions, use backyard composting techniques to turn food waste into mulch, and grow an edible garden that will produce fruits and vegetables year-round.

There is no cost to attend the workshop, however, regular and worm compost bins will be available for purchase at the end of the workshop for a reduced price of $40 and $65, respectively. Diamond Bar Center is located at 1600 Grand Avenue. For more information, call (909) 839-7015.
