Recycling Poster Contest

ARD 2019 Poster Contest

As part of its efforts to raise awareness for the national America Recycles Day, the City is again encouraging fifth graders who live or attend school in Diamond Bar to participate in a poster contest with the theme “What I Can Recycle.”

Artwork must be created horizontally (landscape) on an 8.5 x 14-inch sheet of unlined, white paper, and must creatively depict the many items at home, school or anywhere that can be recycled. Paint, crayon, marker, or any other art media may be used–the brighter the colors, the better.

First, second and third place winners will be selected and awarded gift cards. They will also have their artwork framed and displayed at the City’s America Recycles Day event set for November 16.

All posters must be accompanied by a completed entry form and received at Diamond Bar City Hall, 21810 Copley Drive, no later than 4 p.m. Friday, October 18. If sending by mail, be sure entries are flat – not rolled or folded, and the envelope is addressed to City of Diamond Bar, Environmental Services Division, Attn: Dannette Allen.

Complete contest rules and the entry form are available online or by contacting the City’s Environmental Services Division by email or phone at (909) 839-7012.
