City is again encouraging fifth graders who live or attend school in Diamond
Bar to participate in a poster contest with the theme “What I Can Recycle.”
must be created horizontally (landscape) on an 8.5 x 14-inch sheet of unlined,
white paper, and must creatively depict the many items at home, school or
anywhere that can be recycled. Paint, crayon, marker, or any other art media
may be used–the brighter the colors, the better.
second and third place winners will be selected and awarded gift cards. They
will also have their artwork framed and displayed at the City’s America
Recycles Day event set for November 16.
posters must be accompanied by a completed entry form and received at Diamond
Bar City Hall, 21810 Copley Drive, no later than 4 p.m. Friday, October 18. If
sending by mail, be sure entries are flat – not rolled or folded, and the
envelope is addressed to City of Diamond Bar, Environmental Services Division,
Attn: Dannette Allen.
