Health Screenings for Seniors

Health Screenings

City of Diamond Bar and Kaiser Permanente are teaming up to offer a special three-part series of preventative health talks and screenings designed to arm older adults with awareness and resources to prevent falls, manage medications, and avoid catching a cold or the flu.

The series of talks and screenings will be led by Kaiser doctors and field experts, and take place at the Diamond Bar Center, located at 1600 Grand Avenue.

The first event is a Falls and Balance Screening on Wednesday, August 14 from 9 to 11 a.m., followed by a Medication Assessment on Wednesday, September 4 from 9 to 11 a.m., and concluding with a Cold and Flu Talk on Wednesday, October 9 from 10 to 11 a.m.

Spaces are limited, and separate registration is required for each event by calling. Additional details for each of these events can be found in the senior section of this guide.

For more information or to register, call the Parks and Recreation Department at (909) 839-7070.
