Unclaimed Funds

The City is holding unclaimed funds from uncashed City-issued checks or fee deposits for planning or engineering-related projects. As required by Government Code Section 50050 et seq., the City is advertising a notice of these unclaimed funds in local newspapers on May 10, 11, 17 and 18. Lists with the amount of funds and names of their respective potential owners are posted on the City website. Also on this web page is the claim form that listed individuals or entities need to complete in order to collect their unclaimed funds. Claims need to be filed by June 24, 2019. After this date, they will be presumed abandoned and will become property of the City. Questions regarding unclaimed funds may be directed to the City’s Finance Department at (909) 839-7050.
