The 2018 Through My Lens photo contest (TML) turned up a new batch of winning photos skillfully capturing moments and sceneries in Diamond Bar.
One winner and one honorable mention were selected in each of the two divisions and five categories, and the awardees received certificates of recognition from City Council and cash prizes courtesy of the Diamond Bar Community Foundation (DBCF).
In the youth division, the winning entries belong to Alejandro Contreras, Erich Quach, Daisy Tseng, and Kelly Yap and the honorable mentions to Zachary Shimokawa, Tiffany Wang, Jimmy Wong, Melody Lee, and Ankush Sahgal. In the adult division, the winner titles went to Joy Reyes, Tony Wu, Joan Doner, Christina Ying, Ryenne Ramos, and honorable mentions were presented to Rebekkah Joy Cefai, Tony Wu, Terry Stelzriede, and Juliana Gamboa. Grand Prize designation, which was issued to the highest point-getting photograph, went to youth entrant Alejandro Contreras for his entry “Man’s Best Friend“ in the People category.
Co-sponsored by the City and the Diamond Bar Community Foundation (DBCF), the TML contest is aimed at strengthening community spirit while highlighting the best of Diamond Bar as captured through the camera lenses of residents. This year’s contest will open for entries on April 1, with details available online.
