Council Reorganization

City Council 2019

Diamond Bar City Council held its post-election reorganization as part of its regularly scheduled meeting of December 4.

Following certification of the November 6, 2018 General Municipal Election results and a presentation to outgoing Councilmember Jimmy Lin, newly elected Council Member Andrew Chou as well as re-elected Council Members Nancy Lyons and Steve Tye were sworn in with the oath of office. This is Lyons’ second time and Tye’s third time voted into a four-year term on the City Council.

Also as part of its reorganization, the City Council selected Carol Herrera to serve as mayor and Tye to serve as mayor pro tem for the coming year. This will be Herrera’s sixth time serving as Diamond Bar mayor, and Tye’s fourth time serving as mayor pro tem.
