Get Emergency Alerts

Hillside Fire

The City recently transitioned to a new emergency notification system, is urging everyone who lives or works in Diamond Bar to take a moment to register or update their contact information.

Unblocked landline phone numbers, and emails and cellphones registered in the previous system have been programmed into CivicReady, the new notification system; however, it is important for everyone to go online and complete their profiles with current contact information, and also select a preferred language and way to be contacted: phone call, email or text.

CivicReady will be used to alert subscribers of a variety of emergency situations that include earthquakes, floods, fires, and other weather hazards; severe traffic incidents and power outages; and law enforcement activity or other threats to health and safety.

In addition to alerts of an imminent or in-progress emergency, subscribers will also occasionally receive routine test messages. Individuals without internet access or those having trouble with registration may contact the City’s Public Information Division at 909-839-7055 or 909-839-7056 for assistance.
