City Council special meeting of Tuesday, February 5, 2019

Highlights of action taken:

  • Approved settlement agreement with the cities of Chino Hills and Industry regarding the Tres Hermanos Ranch pending litigation, dismissing six lawsuits.
  • Approved amending the existing Tres Hermanos Conservation Authority Joint Powers Agreement (JPA) to create a newly re-constituted Tres Hermanos Conservation Authority. The new JPA will have a seven-member governing board with seats filled by two Council Members from Diamond Bar and Chino Hills, and three Industry Council Members.

Highlights of action taken:

  • Approved Notice of Completion for playground surfacing replacement and ADA Improvement Project at Starshine Park. Total project cost is $127,936 and aws paid for utilizing Community Development Block Grant or CDGB funds.
  • Approved map to subdivide existing 4.2-acre property into three single-family residential lots at 22702 Timbertop Lane.
  • Presentation to Arthur Murphy Dance Studio as February Business of the Month
