The City of Diamond Bar takes pride in keeping its facilities and neighborhoods in excellent condition. Occasionally, however, graffiti and/or vandalism occur.
Public Works is responsible for keeping City roads and rights-of-way free of overgrown weeds, brush, and debris.
The City oversees the planting, installation, and maintenance of all street trees and other public land landscaping.
Streetlights are maintained by the City's Public Works Department and by the Southern California Edison Company.

The Public Works Department constructs, maintains, and repairs sidewalks, curbs, and gutters. Property owners are responsible for standard maintenance of sidewalks, curbs, and gutters, such as sweeping and removal of debris and trash.
The City of Diamond Bar's Public Works Department is responsible for installing and maintaining storm drains and drainage ditches in public areas and along city roads. Storm drains and ditches divert water and debris from road surfaces after a storm or shower.
