The Diamond Bar City Council meets on the first and third Tuesdays of the month at 6:30 p.m. in the SCAQMD Auditorium (21865 Copley Drive, CA 91765). View meeting calendar.

City Council Vacancy

January 8, 2020 - Applications are now being accepted from qualified individuals interested in being considered for appointment to an interim seat on the Diamond Bar City Council, which expires November 2020. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, a United States citizen, and reside and be registered to vote in the City of Diamond Bar. Applications must be received by the City Clerk’s Office no later than 5:30 p.m. Monday, January 20.

City Council Overview

The City of Diamond Bar is a general law city incorporated on April 18, 1989. It is governed by the city council/city manager form of government. A five-member city council is elected by the residents, and a mayor is elected annually by the council to serve a one-year term. The city manager is appointed by the council to oversee the daily activities of the City
