The five-member Parks and Recreation Commission is responsible for advising the City Council in all matters pertaining to the planning, programming and operation of recreation activities and facilities and the development of recreation areas, facilities, programs and improved services.
The five-member Planning Commission’s general purpose is to review proposed developments that may have an impact on the community’s growth and environment.
The purpose of the Traffic and Transportation Commission is to act in an advisory capacity to the City Council in the review and development of systems, facilities, plans, policies and programs concerning private and public transportation within the City and affecting the City.
