The five-member Parks and Recreation Commission is responsible for advising the City Council in all matters pertaining to the planning, programming and operation of recreation activities and facilities and the development of recreation areas, facilities, programs and improved services.
The five-member Planning Commission’s general purpose is to review proposed developments that may have an impact on the community’s growth and environment.
The purpose of the Traffic and Transportation Commission is to act in an advisory capacity to the City Council in the review and development of systems, facilities, plans, policies and programs concerning private and public transportation within the City and affecting the City.
Jan. 3, 2020 - The City Clerk's Office is currently accepting applications to fill upcoming vacancies on the City's three commissions. Diamond Bar residents interested in applying or current commissioners who would like to be reappointed should complete an application and submit it to the City Clerk's Office by email, mail or in person no later than 4:30 p.m. Friday, February 7.
