Summary Using State law and the Diamond Bar Municipal Code as the basis for their review, the Planning Commission will determine whether or not to approve the construction a new 2,743 square-foot, two-story single-family residence on an undeveloped 11,225 square-foot parcel on the north side of N. Diamond Bar Blvd., between Soltaire Street and Highland Valley Road.

The City of Diamond Bar is currently accepting applications for the 2023-2024 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program year.

To be eligible for CDBG funding, your program or project must meet the following three requirements:

• CDBG Eligible Activity – acquisition of real property for an eligible use; acquisition, construction and rehabilitation of public facilities; demolition and clearance of deteriorated buildings; community services for low- and moderate-income households; or removal of barriers that restrict the mobility of elderly or disabled persons.

• CDBG National Objectives – (1) Project must principally serve low- and moderate-income persons; (2) Project must eliminate slum and blight, or (3) Project must address a recent and urgent health and safety need.

• The Project must address the Community Development objectives the City proposes to pursue.
