All individuals and businesses doing work within city limits, whether or not they have a physical structure in the city, are required to have a business license. This includes contractors, internet and home-based businesses. Business license holders must display their license in public view at all times.
Business License Application
Business license applications may be completed online, and will be processed electronically.
Alternatively, licenses may be applied for in person at City Hall during regular business hours. Please complete a business license and zoning clearance application for new businesses located within city limits. For businesses located outside of the city, please complete the business license application only.
Dental offices must submit the One-Time Compliance Report for Dental Discharges Form with the renewal application, if not submitted already.

Non-profits and certain businesses are exempt from paying fees under the Constitution of the United States or under the Constitution or laws of the State of California but must still register with the City.
