Green living will take center stage in recognition of Earth Day

The City of Diamond Bar in collaboration with Walnut Valley Water District will be hosting the annual Earth Day Celebration and Water Festival on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at the South Coast Air Quality Management District parking lot. There will be a variety of workshops, vendor booths, activities for children, display of Arbor Day poster contest winners, student performances, paper shredding, free mulch giveaways, and compost bins available for purchase.

Arbor Day Poster Contest

Diamond Bar students in grades four through seventh are invited to showcase their creativity and celebrate the importance of trees by taking part in the City’s 2024 Arbor Day Poster Contest.

Contest artwork must be created by hand and illustrate a message that communicates this year’s contest theme – “Nature’s Climate Champion”

Submissions are due no later than Friday, March 29, and may be dropped off at, or mailed to, Diamond Bar City Hall located at 21810 Copley Drive. Click the following link for complete contest rules and the entry form.
