Earth Day Celebration

April 22, 2023 | 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.

South Coast Air Quality Management District Parking Lot

21865 Copley Drive, Diamond Bar, CA

Green living will take center stage at the City’s Earth Day Celebration!
The event features a variety of recycling and conservation-focused stations, activities, and information and giveaway booths.

At this event, residents can:

  • Bring a shovel, gloves and containers to collect free mulch to take home.
  • Bring up to two banker boxes, or one 13-gallon trash bag, of unneeded confidential documents and have the shredded on site.
    • Make sure documents are not in binders or sheet protectors, or fastened with rubber bands or binder clips. Staples and paperclips are K. Remove plastic bags, plastic file tabs, CDs and other hard items.
  • Drive through and drop off old televisions, computers, laptops, or any other electronics.
  • Get a free used motor oil recycling kit, and learn where to recycle your glass and plastic bottles and aluminum cans.
  • Learn about local nonprofit organizations that collect food donations and redistribute to individuals and families in need.

Information booths will be hosted by Abound Food Care, Valley Vista, and Waste Management.

For children and youth in attendance, Discovery Cube will be on site with a fun, hands-on Earth Day-themed activity.
