Cost: Construction $595,000/ construction management, testing, inspection, and engineering support $227,000 

Funding Source: $1.2 million of General Fund and $15,000 Measure W funding

Project Description

A geotechnical analysis identified natural and designed slopes with slope stability issues and signs of soil “creep” movements, causing exterior distress in the area of the north-west facing earth slopes of the Diamond Bar Center facility. The project’s objective is to stabilize the north-west slope and soil “creep” movement by introduction the following improvements:

  • Buried cast-in-place drilled piles
  • Buried reinforced concrete beams
  • Concrete flatwork
  • Paving
  • Salvage grading
  • Backfill & compaction work
  • Storm drain systems landscaping, and
  • Other incidental and appurtenant work
