Trash and Recycling
Single Family Homes
Each single-family residence is supplied with three carts for the weekly automated collection of refuse, recyclable materials and green waste. Trash carts come in 35, 64, and 96 gallon cart sizes, while carts for recycling and green waste are available in 35 and 64 gallon sizes. Customers who require more than one cart may request a second one - refuse (additional charge applies), recycling (no additional charge), and green waste (no additional charge).

Special Services
Senior Discount
Waste Management customers age 60 or older or with a disability may be eligible for a discount on the standard monthly trash and recycling cart service rate.
Backyard Service
Waste Management customers with a disability that impedes them from being able to wheel their carts to the curb (and who do not live with a relative who can help) are able to request free "backyard service". As part of this service, trash collection personnel member will retrieve the carts, empty them, and return them to their original storage area. To qualify for either of these special needs services, the bill must be in the customer’s name and the customer must live at the address where the discount or service will be received.

Missed Pickup
If your carts were at the curb by 6:30 a.m. and were not emptied, call Waste Management at (800) 266-7551. If you call before noon, service will be provided that same day. Missed pickups reported after noon will be fulfilled the next business day.

Multi-Family Complexes
Multi-family dwellings (apartment buildings, condominiums, and town homes) have access to communal trash / recycling bins. the quantity and type of bins vary with each location depending on a number of factors such as the number of units, container storage space, and contract service specifications.

Waste Management: Collection service will be delayed by one day for all days that fall on or after one of these holidays. If the holiday falls on a weekend there will be no delay in service.
Valley Vista: If collection day falls on or after one of these holidays, collection service will be delayed by one day. If it falls on a weekend, collection will be made up on the prior Friday or the following Monday.
