District Meetings and Workshops

Be Part of the Process

Learn about by-district elections and share your input at upcoming community engagement opportunities.

The City will be conducting two online informational presentations followed by two interactive workshops as part of the transition to a by-district election system. Members of the community are encouraged to attend the workshops to learn about the mapping process and be able to draw and submit their own district map for consideration. In addition, a total of five public hearings will be held during City Council meetings to discuss the process, determine the number of districts and decide if the mayor will be voted for at-large or continue on a rotation basis.
