- Frontier Communications Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) Project
About
Frontier Communications has contracted Line Works Construction to expand high-speed broadband internet service in Diamond Bar by extending its fiber-optic network into several Diamond Bar neighborhoods in the south-end of town. The first project is expected to start in early-February 2022.
The neighborhoods included in Frontier’s current FTTH project were selected by the telecommunications company based on access to its existing communication infrastructure. According to Frontier, the installations will largely take place on and around existing overhead lines and existing underground substructures . Construction crews will not need to enter homes, but may need access to back yards if that is where telephone lines are located.
