The City Clerk is now accepting applications from individuals interested in filling a vacancy on the City of Diamond Bar Traffic & Transportation Commission. The term of office for appointment to this vacancy will expire on February 28, 2014.
The purpose of the Traffic and Transportation Commission is to act in an advisory capacity to the City Council in the review and development of systems, facilities, plans, policies and programs concerning private and public transportation within the City and affecting the City. The Commission also makes recommendations to the City Council, City Traffic Engineer, and other City officials regarding the ways and means for improving traffic conditions, as well as the administration and enforcement of traffic regulations. The Traffic and Transportation Commission meets on the second Thursday of every month at 7:00 p.m. in Diamond Bar City Hall - Windmill Community Room, 1st Floor, located at 21810 Copley Drive in Diamond Bar.
