ABOUT THE PROJECT
The cities of Diamond Bar and Industry, in cooperation with the California Department of Transportation District 7 (Department) and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), propose to construct a new interchange on State Route 60 (SR-60) at Lemon Avenue. The proposed project would improve traffic operations by providing direct access to SR-60 from the surrounding areas.
Once completed, the interchange will consist of a SR-60 westbound on-ramp, eastbound on-ramp and eastbound off-ramp at Lemon Avenue. It will help relieve traffic congestion at the existing Brea Canyon Road interchange and improve safety and traffic movement on the SR-60 and SR-57 freeways as well as local arterials.
