Calling All Fashionistas!  Project Runway Fashion Sewing Class

Recreation ClassYoung designers, ages 13 to 17 years will learn how to design and create original looks from a basic pattern, and show off their skills in challenges such as “Rags to Riches” and “Mad about Plaid”. Six-week class begins 9/3. For more details, view page 15 of fall guide.

Practice your “Sidespin”, “Fish” or “Backspin” at Free Open Play Table Tennis

Ping Pong PaddlePick up your paddle and head on down to the Heritage Park Community Center for free, drop-in table tennis! All ages welcome to participate on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. and Sundays from 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m..

Still Time to Catch a Concerts or Movie at the Park

concert2Concerts in the Park begin at 6:30 pm at Sycamore Canyon Park with Movies under the Stars following at dusk. Here are the final two events of the summer:

August 14 - Kelly Rae Band – Country Pop / Movie: The Lorax

August 21 -  The Ultimate Stones – Rolling Stones Tribute Band / Movie: Who Framed Roger Rabbit?

Remember, admission is free and free parking and handicapped accessible shuttle service is available to and from the Diamond Bar Golf Course parking lot and Sycamore Canyon Park, beginning at 5:30 p.m.

For safety reasons, personal barbeque grills are not allowed. In addition, pets, with exception of registered assistance guide dogs, are discouraged due to safety issues and expected large crowd and loud noise conditions.
