Looking for ways to give back to your community? Become a Volunteen!
What is it? – The Volunteen program offers teens the opportunity to become involved in their community while receiving work experience and leadership training throughout the summer.
About the Program - As a Diamond Bar Volunteen you may find yourself coaching a youth baseball team, engaging pre-schoolers in tiny tots, demonstrating how to make a lanyard in day camp, serving snacks to the seniors or helping set up the movie screen at concerts and movies in the park. Limited positions available.
All of these activities are leadership and work experience that may lead you to a future job. Volunteer hours will be tallied for required school/church volunteer hours. At the end of the program you will receive a certificate and a letter from the program coordinator stating what program you worked in and all your hours.
