Project Status -This project is currently in the early design phase, with construction anticipated to begin in 2018 and continue into 2019.

Diamond Bar Citywide Streetscape Enhancement Plan -This project is part of the Diamond Bar City Council's larger, long-term plan to invest in streetscape enhancement projects - as funds and/or opportunities arise - at prominent locations around town, including entry points and key areas along major thoroughfares, with the ultimate goal of creating a distinctive, cohesive and attractive identity for the city that instills a sense of pride and belonging in community members and provides a sense of arrival for place for visitors.

Sustainable Element: Improvements to the median strip will include swales - partly rocklined, partly vegetated - designed to capture, convey, filter and infiltrate storm water runoff. A photograph of a similar swale in a median strip is shown here.
